I maybe have discovered a weird password issue. But I don't know 100% sure if this is this version related or something else. But we never experienced this before.So we experienced something very weird, newest DA version.Freshly installed server with new DA admin pass we got after installation.We restored the old admin account from old server, so we have alle correct settings from the main domain which is in there.Ofcourse yes, the current admin passwords will be overwritten and then we need to use the old admin password to login again, that is well known.To get the new passwords again login via SSH and use:passwd adminto change all admin passwords back to the new we got before from setup.txt. Until now this has always worked this way perfectly.However, this time we could login with the new admin password. But the ftp account for admin still had the old admin password.We couldn't change that anymore, since in Directadmin GUI one has to use the old password to change it to a new one. This won't work, no matter what you select.Tried this.1.) Deselect admin and mysql password so only "Change FTP password" is selected2.) Entered old admin pass as current directadmin password (which is working for FTP) and new password as the new password.Result: old password incorrect3. ) Tried putting in the new password everywhere:Result: password not changed, same password used.So there is no way to change only the FTP password this way.To fix this, I had to change back the old password via th DirectAdmin Forums...

Today at 1:12 PM Hi guys!After a fresh installation of DirectAdmin I cannot create a domain with my main domain which ends to .com, because I'm getting this error: "Sub-domain is forbidden".However I tried using two other domains of mine (one ends to .hu, the other ends to .cloud) and DirectAdmin lets me create them.How can I fix this issue? Hello,I have been experiencing Centos Stream 8 crashing problem after Directadmin installation for the last 3 days. I tried the original ISO file on Hetzner servers and the ISO file I downloaded via centos.org.I tried at least 30 times on the normal Dedicated server and VMware Virtual Server.I also tried Centos Stream 8 Minimal or Standard Server installations.Centos Stream 8 works normally on its own. When the dedicated server or virtual server restarts, the Login screen appears smoothly. SSH and sFTP connections are working.I failed in more than 30 attempts. (I only use the original automatic setup command) After directadmin is installed, when Centos restarts, it does not open again.On the dedicated server: Keel Panic error occurs and the operating system crashes.On the VMware virtual server, it gives the error "Host SMBus controller bus not enabled" and does not open again.I tried many solutions on Google.to the file named "/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf"I added "blacklist i2c-piix4" and restarted. didn't get better and then on another forum it was written that using "blacklist i2c_piix4" would work. it didn't work again. It is mentioned as Centos 8 VM error in Google forums. But this definitely seems to be an issue with directadmin.In case the dedicated server went down, the Hetzner Support team replaced the server completely.I bought another server. So I tested it on 3 different hardware in total.After installing directadmin on all servers, I restart it and it does not DirectAdmin Forums...
